35 Acres, Two Dreamers, and a Whole Lot of Heart.
OUR HISTORY, OUR FAMILY
It Started with Absolutely Nothing
When Scott and I first stood on these 35 acres, there wasn’t a single fence post, a light switch, or even a path through the grass. It was a beautiful, silent piece of land with a whole lot of potential and absolutely zero infrastructure.
Most people see 35 empty acres and see a daunting task. We saw a blank canvas where we could build a life and a farm that did things differently. We didn’t inherit a legacy; we decided to build one from scratch.
Every inch of Finest Kind Acres has our fingerprints on it. We didn’t just move in—we broke ground. We carved out the road that welcomes you today. We brought in the electricity, the propane, and the septic. We dug the well that provides our animals with fresh, clean water and raised the barn that keeps them safe.
From our family home to the very last pasture gate, we built this property with our own hands. This “from scratch” mentality is the same level of dedication we bring to raising our pigs. When you know exactly how the well was dug and the barn was built, you care a little more about everything that happens inside those fences.
Raised with Respect, Rooted in Quality
Our philosophy is simple but rare: We believe that the quality of the meat is a direct reflection of the quality of the animal’s life.
Raised with Respect:
Rooted in Quality:
When quality matters and preserving a timeless way of life is just as important, you’ve found a place that honors both.
